Hon’ble Tourism and Sports Vice-Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. K. Sarsen Abaiuly invited Vice President of the World Togyzqumalaq Federation & President of the International Ethnosport Bangladesh Association Md Al Mamun to his Ministry.
At this time, the Hon’ble Vice-Minister congratulated the Bangladesh team for participating in the World School Togyzqumalaq Championship 2023 (U. 15-17 Y.) Held in Almaty, Kazakhstan and also congratulated Md Al Mamun for being elected the Vice President of the World Togyzqumalaq Federation. At this moment, Md Al Mamun Informed the Hon’ble Vice Minister about the activities of the International Ethnosport Bangladesh Association and the progress of the Togyzqumalaq Ethnosport of Kazakhstan in Bangladesh with the assistance of the World Togyzqumalaq Federation. The Vice-Minister congratulated on the progress of the Togyzqumalaq Ethnosport in Bangladesh, and he mentioned that nowadays, Togyzqumalaq is becoming one of the most popular sports around the world day by day. The Hon’ble Vice Minister assured all cooperation in promoting this game in Bangladesh and he also informed that the 5th World Nomad Games is going to be held in Kazakhstan in 2024, and invited the Bangladesh team to participate in the said competition. It should be noted that the World Nomad Games are organized every two years, the last time this event was held in 2022 in Turkiye.
