Dhaka, 9 May 2026: President of the International Ethnosport Bangladesh Association (IEBA), Md Al Mamun, attended the reception marking Europe Day 2026, following an invitation from Ambassador H. E. Michael Miller, Head of Delegation of the European Union to Bangladesh.
The reception, hosted by the European Union to Bangladesh, was held in a dignified and cordial atmosphere, reflecting the values of partnership and mutual respect. The event brought together ambassadors from various countries, including France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark, and Canada, along with members of the diplomatic corps and senior officials of the Government of Bangladesh. Bangladesh’s Finance Minister, Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, attended the event as the chief guest. The reception was organized at the Crowne Plaza Airport Hotel in Dhaka.
The occasion highlighted the enduring spirit of friendship, cooperation, and shared commitment between Bangladesh and the European Union.
