The 3rd World Nomad Games 2018 were held from September 2nd to 8th of 2018 in Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul region, Kyrgyzstan. About 3000 sportsmen including Bangladesh from 80 countries participated and competed in 37 traditional sports. In September 2018 during the official visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Kyrgyzstan it was decided that in 2020 the IV World Nomad Games will be held in Turkey.
