The Manirampur Subdistrict Ethnosport Championship at the Manirampur Subdistrict Sports Auditorium on 7th December 2024. Organized by the International Ethnosport Bangladesh Association. The championship witnessed the participation of 100 competitors representing various unions of Manirampur Subdistrict. The event’s chief guest, Md. Al Mamun, (Founder of the International Ethnosport Bangladesh Association) a prominent figure in the global Ethnosport movement, graced the occasion. Speaking during the award ceremony, he emphasized the significance of promoting Ethnosport across rural Bangladesh: “We are working to spread Ethnosport in remote areas of the country. The Manirampur competition is a successful example of this effort. These games inspire our youth and nurture their passion for sports.”
Under the guidance of Mr. Haider Ali, chief instructor for Jessore District of the International Ethnosport Bangladesh Association, the championship was conducted seamlessly.
