In a remarkable display of skill and determination, Bangladesh’s Ethnosport delegation has captivated audiences at the ongoing Children of Asia Games 2024 in Yakutsk, Russia. Led by Md Al Mamun, Founder & General Secretary of the International Ethnosport Bangladesh Association, the team has showcased their prowess in Mas-Wrestling, leaving a lasting impression on the international stage.
Highlighting their competitive spirit, Zarif Ferdous competed in the 80+ kg category, while Sanwar Khondkar Junaid participated in the 70 kg category, demonstrating exceptional talent and sportsmanship throughout their matches.
With their standout performances and commitment to excellence, Bangladesh’s Ethnosport athletes are not only making headlines but also inspiring a new generation of sports enthusiasts back home. Their achievements at the Children of Asia Games 2024 serve as a testament to their dedication and the growing prominence of Ethnosport on the world stage.
The Games were inaugurated with a grand ceremony on June 26, attended by the head of the Sakha Republic and ministers from various Asian countries, including Russia’s Minister of Sports. This significant international multi-sport event for young athletes is organized by the Children of Asia International Committee in cooperation with the Government of Russia, the Russian Olympic Committee, and the Sakha Republic (Yakutsk).
