The 5th World Mas-Wrestling Championship 2023, which was held in the framework of the International Ethnosport Festival at Khiva, Uzbekistan on 7th through 10th September 2023, organized by the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, International Mas-Wrestling Federation, Russia, Uzbekistan Ethnosport Association and Uzbekistan Bodybuilding, Fitness & Mas-Wrestling Federation. 80 countries participated in the International Ethnosport Festival 2023, of which 20 countries including Bangladesh participated in the Mas-Wrestling World Championship 2023 event.
